The ME TOO Congress Act provides additional protections to those subjected to sexual assault or harassment. However, the act currently applies solely to lawmakers in Congress. To provide the necessary actions to prevent sexual assault and aid survivors, our group would alter this act to encompass not only Congress, but spaces such as corporations, schools, and public transportation, where a large number of sexual assault cases occur.
